Sølager Strand Camping

Enjoy nature at Halsnæs.

The Halsnæs trail is a delightful experience, either on foot or by bike, where you can enjoy the very varied countryside around the fjord and the coast, as Halsnæs is surrounded by water on three sides - the Kattegat, Isefjorden and Roskilde Fjord

There are also excellent beaches in the area with really clean water.

Skansen at Hundested is well worth a visit with its incredible view of the approach to Isefjord.
Knud Rasmussen's House, now a museum containing memorabilia from his countless expeditions to Greenland, is also in the area.

Kikhavn, the oldest fishing village on Halsnæs, dates back to the 13th century. A stroll through its idyllic streets takes the visitor back to a village community from former times.

North Zealand's many attractions are all within one hour's drive from Sølager, including
* Frederiksborg Castle
* Kronborg
* the Karen Blixen Museum
* Louisiana Art Museum
* Bakken in Dyrehaven - the oldest amusement park on earth

Copenhagen can also be reached within an hour by road - with everything a big city can offer. For those without a car there is a good public transport system with a bus stop right outside the camping ground.
